Portale Turistico del Comune di Cupra Marittima

Dopo aver ospitato dal 2016 al 2019 le gare di Swimrun - sport multidisciplinare che prevede la pratica della corsa alternata al nuoto, all'aperto e in acque libere - dal 2022 Cupra Marittima è diventata tappa fissa del circuito nazionale Adriatic Series di Triathlon, un insieme di gare che si svolgono nelle location più belle della costa adriatica.

Le distanze sulle quali le centinaia di atleti provenienti da tutta Italia si misureranno quest'anno saranno quelle classiche del Triathlon Olimpico  1500 metri di nuoto, 40 chilometri di ciclismo e 10 chilometri di corsa.

Organizzato ogni primavera dalla Flipper Triathlon, associazione che sin dal 1996 promuove la
lealtà tra atleti e il rispetto dell’ambiente, con il coinvolgimento delle locali attività commerciali, strutture ricettive e associazioni sportive, l’evento è uno dei simboli della sinergia tra Sport e Turismo a cui la nostra cittadina da sempre aspira, e si affianca a tutte le altre opportunità che il territorio offre agli appassionati di sport all'aria aperta, rendendo Cupra Marittima una località capace di regalare diverse attività di turismo esperienziale.

After hosting the Swimrun competitions from 2016 to 2019 - a multidisciplinary sport that involves the practice of running alternating with swimming, outdoors and in open water - since 2022 Cupra Marittima has become a fixed stop of the national Adriatic Series Triathlon circuit, a set of races that take place in the most beautiful locations on the Adriatic coast.

The distances over which the hundreds of athletes from all over Italy will compete this year will be the classic Olympic Triathlon distances: 1500 meters of swimming, 40 kilometers of cycling and 10 kilometers of running.

Organized every spring by the Flipper Triathlon, an association that since 1996 has promoted loyalty between athletes and respect for the environment, with the involvement of local commercial activities, accommodation facilities and sports associations, the event is one of the symbols of the synergy between sport and tourism to which our town has always aspired, and joins all the other opportunities that the area offers to outdoor sports enthusiasts, making Cupra Marittima a location capable of offering various experiential tourism activities.
