Cupra sul mare - Cupra by the sea
…Cupra si svegliò sul mare: chiesa, comune, case degli uomini, officine, tutto era sceso sulla spiaggia, ricostruito con geometrico lindore. Ora il paesino torna ad espandersi, e lungo il mare già accenna a congiungersi coi rocchi ferrigni della Civita antica: anche per Cupra il cerchio delle vicende storiche ritorna su se stesso e si richiude.

…Cupra woke up on the sea: the church, the town hall, people’s houses, everything had gone down to the beach, rebuilt with geometric precision. Now the village is expanding again, and along the sea it already begins to merge with the iron-colored rocks of the ancient Civita: for Cupra as well, the circle of history turns back on itself and comes to a close.
